Friends,
As we navigate the current political and economic climate, we know that changes to science and funding for the medical field are raising concerns across the country. Nevada, in particular, faces unique challenges in healthcare access and affordability. For many in our Latino, Hispanic, and wider undocumented communities, the fear of seeking help at a hospital is a barrier that can prevent people from getting the care they need.
With winter approaching, cold and flu season is upon us. This is why we are hosting a vital event featuring doctors from our community who want to discuss the importance of preventative care. The goal is to help you maintain your health, stay safe with limited or no medical coverage, and prevent issues before they become so severe that an emergency room or hospital visit is necessary.
We want to assure you that all services discussed at this event are cost-free and no documentation status will be asked. Your health and peace of mind are our priority.
Please join us for this important discussion hosted by the HACER Hispanic Caucus:
* Date: September 9
* Time: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
* Location: La Tapatia Paleteria, 200 Winnie Ln, Carson City
We look forward to seeing you there.
