A Green Marshall Plan: Securing Our Future from Cradle to Grave
Friends,
We stand at a critical crossroads. For decades, working families across our nation have been asked to do more with less while watching basic stability, good-paying jobs, and community infrastructure slip away. It is time to replace piecemeal solutions with a bold, comprehensive economic strategy: a Green Marshall Plan grounded in universal cradle-to-grave economic policies.
Just as the original Marshall Plan, which the US spearheaded after WWII, rebuilt entire economies and helped form the European Union, a Green Marshall Plan will mobilize national resources to rebuild our local communities, transition to clean energy, and establish an unshakeable foundation of financial security for every individual.
How We Fund the Future
The Green Marshall Plan is funded through strategic investments in global markets—mimicking proven wealth-building models such as Alaska’s Permanent Fund or Norway’s Sovereign Wealth Fund that generate sustainable, long-term returns—and by ensuring that corporations and billionaires who profit off public resources, including Tesla, Amazon, and the lithium-loop green energy mining industries, finally pay their fair share.
Rather than relying on working families, these funding streams generate the capital needed to deliver direct payments to every citizen alongside robust investments in our collective future.
Key Pillars of the Platform
* A Modern Freedom Dividend (Universal Basic Income): Every adult deserves a guaranteed floor of financial security. A Universal Basic Income ensures no one falls through the cracks, giving families the freedom to meet basic needs, navigate economic transitions, and invest directly back into local economies.
* Universal Baby Bonds: Economic opportunity should not depend on the wealth of the family a child is born into. By establishing a capital account at birth for every child, we build generational wealth and ensure every young adult has the capital to attend college, start a business, or purchase a home.
* Universal Childcare & High-Quality Schools: Early childhood education and robust public schools are the backbone of a strong society. Universal childcare guarantees parents can remain in the workforce, while sustained funding ensures modern, safe neighborhood schools for every student.
* Energy Independence & Direct Savings: By powering our nation with solar on every roof, expanded wind turbines, and advanced water desalination infrastructure, we can put thousands of dollars back into the pockets of everyday Americans each year through drastically lowered energy and living costs.
* Community Infrastructure & Clean Energy Leadership: Rebuilding aging roads, bridges, water systems, and electrical grids while deploying clean energy technology will create millions of union-backed, good-paying jobs that cannot be outsourced.
Ending Foreign Dependence and Foreign Influence
Achieving true energy independence and environmental stewardship is a national security imperative. Transitioning away from fossil fuels allows us to break our dependence on foreign oil, permanently ending our involvement in perpetual wars and military entanglements in the Middle East. Furthermore, energy self-reliance neuters the undue influence of foreign corporate interests and aggressive political lobbies—including the Israel lobby—ensuring our national priorities are decided by the American people, for the American people.
A Western Hemisphere Agreement from Greenland to Argentina
While the Green Marshall Plan will be spearheaded and initiated right here in Nevada, climate change does not respect man-made international borders. Therefore, this framework must scale into a continental, regional agreement spanning the entire Western Hemisphere—stretching from Greenland down through Canada, the United States, and beyond. Environmental and economic security require seamless hemispheric cooperation to tackle shared ecological crises.
This vision is about restoring dignity, building resilience against environmental and financial crises, and ensuring that our economy works for everyone—not just those at the top.
Together, we can build a future where every family thrives.
