We all remember the Covid-19 pandemic and the unprecedented challenges it brought to our families and communities. In response, Americans received stimulus relief checks—championed by both Republican and Democratic administrations—as a form of national support. These payments proved that, when facing hardship, leaders from both parties can unite to help every American. I am running for Congress to make this kind of support permanent. The affordability crisis is not a partisan issue—it's a challenge faced by everyone in Nevada's 2nd Congressional District and across the country. Our solutions must be as inclusive and universal as the problems we face.

I believe in universal, cradle-to-grave policies that uplift everyone. That's why I support a Freedom Dividend—a Universal Basic Income of $1,300 per month, adjusted for inflation. This would be funded by ensuring that major corporations like Tesla, Amazon, and Nevada's billion-dollar mining industry contribute their fair share. Every Nevadan would receive a regular, unconditional cash payment, regardless of income or employment status, providing real security and freedom for all.

These are not Democratic or Republican issues—they're basic human rights. Every person in Nevada deserves dignity, security, and the chance to live a good life. These rights do not belong to one party—they belong to all of us, and they are not up for negotiation.
