"Battle Born for Change: Launching a New Vision for Nevada on March 7, 2026"

Dear Friends, Supporters, and Fellow Nevadans,

With great excitement, I invite you to join me for the official launch of my campaign for Nevada’s second congressional district as an independent democrat on March 7th—International Women’s Day. Whether you are a steadfast supporter, an undecided voter, or simply curious about the future of our state, your presence at this event matters.

International Women’s Day is a time to honor the courage, resilience, and achievements of women around the world. But it is also a day to confront uncomfortable truths.

Here in Nevada, we stand at a crossroads. We have some well-meaning candidates, others who offer more of the same policies, hoping for different results, and even a billionaire in the race. One of my opponents, Teresa Benitez-Thompson, may share my heritage as a Latina woman, but her platform and policies continue the establishment playbook that has left too many women—especially working-class and marginalized women—without a real voice or power.

Yet I am the transformative candidate, offering universal policies from cradle to grave—whether it’s a universal basic income, a Freedom Dividend, or a Nevada Permanent Fund.

We must ask ourselves: Are we satisfied with symbolic representation, or are we ready to demand real change that uplifts all women?

My campaign isn’t about empty gestures or maintaining the status quo. I am a working-class Nevadan with the academic, professional, and lived experience to fight for bold, transformative policies. My vision is rooted in true liberation: ending the cycles of poverty, exploitation, and oppression that have held our communities back for too long. While establishment politics props up the same old systems, I am committed to tearing down barriers and fighting for justice, equity, and new opportunities for every Nevadan.

Our world is in crisis. We see it not only here at home, but also in neighboring Mexico, where violence—such as the recent killing of cartel leader “El Mencho”—reminds us of the urgent need to address root causes and fight for peace and justice across borders. The challenges we face demand courage and conviction.

As Nevadans, we are Battle Born. This campaign is not about me—it’s about us. It’s about building a movement where every voice matters and where neutrality is not an option. The time for hesitation is over. We must seize this moment, unite, and join the political revolution for a Nevada—and a future—built on transformation, not stagnation.

I hope you’ll stand with me on March 7th as we launch this campaign with hope, determination, and the conviction that together, we can make history. Details about the exact location and time for the March 7th event will be available soon, so subscribe to our newsletter and stay tuned!

In solidarity,

Gamaliel “Gamy” Zavala Enriquez
