By utilizing renewable energy and advanced heat-recycling systems, this facility serves as a blueprint for how the data sector can reduce its ecological footprint and contribute to the global effort to move the date of Earth Overshoot Day.

The facility achieves its industry-leading status through a combination of smart energy management and circular resource usage.

Key components of their success include:

• High-Efficiency Power Management: The use of specialized UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) technology allows the facility to operate at 99% efficiency. This performance minimizes energy loss, ensuring that the power required for critical infrastructure is optimized.

• Circular Heat Recovery: A standout feature of the EcoDataCenter is its integration with the local municipal thermal power plant. By redirecting surplus heat, the center supports the production of renewable biofuels and local heating, effectively neutralizing its own carbon output.
